A new Celebree School slated to open in Ashburn Farm, Virginia, this December is currently hiring teachers and enrolling students.

The for-profit school, located at 43800 Clemens Terrace, will serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and includes summer and winter camps and before- and after-school programs for older children, providing an educational and active setting that keeps them interested and engaged.

“In our infant care program, babies are held, rocked and snuggled. In toddler care, they’ll be learning in age-appropriate ways, laughing along the way and making lots of friends,” the school’s website states.

Celebree School of Ashburn Farm also puts emphasis on parent relationships.

Parents will receive daily reports about their child’s activities, as well as regular progress reports, a work sampling portfolio and parent-teacher conferences as they get older, according to the website.

Owned and operated by first-time franchisee Ann Camet, the facility was formerly a child care center that closed at the onset of the pandemic, Camet says.

It is undergoing renovations that include a new playground, classroom furniture and an air duct purifier before opening in December.

Camet says she always wanted to own a business, and education for young learners was a primary focus.

“As a mother and registered nurse for over two decades, I have a passion for taking care of people,” she says. “The people of Loudoun County are like family, and I’m honored to bring Celebree’s great educational offerings to local residents.”

Each Celebree franchise has a customized education model that addresses the physical, social, emotional and academic needs of children and cultivates skills in science, technology, engineering, art and math, or STEAM, at any early age.

The first Celebree School opened in Ellicott City in 1994 as a learning center and expanded to five Maryland counties and Delaware by 2007.

In 2016, founder Richard Huffman began developing a franchise model to allow the school’s footprint to grow more quickly. That model kicked off in 2019. Celebree now has 26 corporate schools and 50 franchise licenses currently in motion.

A Celebree School recently opened in Tysons, Virginia, and another will be opening next year in Reston.

Huffman’s goal is to reach 100 new schools by 2025.

Celebree School of Ashburn Farm will be open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information and inquires about enrollment and employment, visit the school’s website.
