- Clyde’s Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville: Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner
- Call Your Mother: Jewish deli with locations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia that has served latkes for Hannukah

Christmas Trails
- Markoff’s Christmas Trail in Dickerson: All-ages interactive walk created by the team behind the Haunted Forest; Christmas village also on site at the farm! Open Nov. 28-Dec. 13
- National Christmas Tree Lighting in President’s Park Dec. 5: Has been trail of trees representing each state surrounding it in years past
