Family Fun: March Restaurant Week in Vienna, VA

Try something new this season. More than 50 Vienna restaurants are rolling out the red carpet for customers this March for Vienna Restaurant Week, a week-long celebration of local flavor.

A kick-off social event will be held on March 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. near the Town Green adjacent to Maple Ave., in Vienna, Virginia, with restaurant week promotional item giveaways and live music. The special week will run from March 3 through March 10, with deals for families dining in, getting delivery or ordering takeout.

This is the celebration’s third year with restaurants all across the culinary spectrum participating—including Italian, French, Lebanese, Indian and more.

With a full week of deals and special offers, families can take comfort in the classics and dip their toes into uncharted waters.

Families out for American cuisine can explore Caboose Tavern. Its kids’ menu has burgers, chicken tenders, mac and cheese and other kid-friendly favorites and desserts. Grownups or kids with grownup stomachs can try the fried fish sandwich, tavern burger, chili and more.

Families can also try Greek cuisine with Skorpio’s Maggio’s. This restaurant offers a quality selection of Mediterranean dishes—such as Greek festive rotisserie chicken, classic gyros, pita wraps and falafel. For the kids, the restaurant offers chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, mini pitas, chicken gyros and fish with fries. The Maple Ave. restaurant also offers outdoor seating and vegetarian options.

If your family is looking to try Asian cuisine this Vienna Restaurant Week, Royal Nepal Bistro has butter noodles and chicken bites for kids and more sophisticated flavors for adults—like nauni chicken masala, tasala chicken/lamb or chickpea curry.
