Dig Day at Dinosaur Park

Become a junior paleontologist and take home your own fossils at this educational event! Participants will be able to use expert techniques to dig in a real fossil site. Closed-toed shoes are required, and it’s highly recommended that interested parties register in advance.

Spend a fun afternoon enjoying live music, fun games and appearances from local celebrities and public figures while learning about educational resources in the DMV! Backpacks and school supplies will be given away while supplies last, and attendees will be able to receive free haircuts. The event’s organizers are also accepting donations to buy more backpacks.
