Chill Seekers Needed!

Take your COOL to a New Level at the 2016 NOVA Polar Plunge®

Winter Fest benefiting Special Olympics Virginia

Get cold for a COOL cause at the 2016 NOVA Polar Plunge® Winter Fest, Saturday, Feb. 27 at Tim’s Rivershore Restaurant & Crabhouse in Dumfries. Come “bear it all” in support of Special Olympics Virginia and raise you cool to a whole new level.

The Festival begins at 10 am; plunging begins at 2:30 pm. Come out early, though, and strut your stuff at the Plunge costume contest. We’ll also have door prizes, cool plunger incentives, music and awards for the top team and individual fundraisers. The competition is hot, too, as the Fairfax County Police Department tries to out “cool” the Prince William County Police Department. Other veteran plunge teams include the Dale City Moose Lodge and the Memory Heroes. Still need some encouragement? The highest individual fundraiser will receive two United Airlines tickets (some restrictions apply) AND an all-you-can-eat crab fest at Tim’s Rivershore, proving it’s cool to get crabby if you set your fundraising goals high!

The coolest part? YOUR support ensures that more Special Olympics Virginia athletes receive access to free year-round sport, health and education programs. We need YOU to help us raise $100,000 and make the 2016 Plunge one for the record books. We’ve even got a new online Crest-O-Matic tool to help you prepare for your big dip in style – www.polarplunge.com/team-crest!

Visit our website, www.polarplunge.com/nova for more information and to register. This year’s event is presented by the Prince William County Police Department and Tim’s Rivershore Restaurant & Crabhouse.
