Watch: Social and Emotional Learning at Summer Camp

Camp is a fun way to pass the time when school’s out for the summer, but there’s more to it than making friendship bracelets, splashing in the pool and sweating it up on the soccer field. It’s a place where real social and emotional learning can be done in a safe and engaging way.

Our editor, PJ Feinstein, talked to Camp JCC Director Phil Liebson about this benefit of summer camp for kids — especially after a year of virtual learning and few extracurricular activities.
