We feel that moms are not celebrated nearly enough for all they do for their families, their communities and their work. They care for us when we’re sick, pack hundreds of school lunches, help us with our homework and make sure we have everything we need. As we grow up, they’re only a phone call away for advice and motherly wisdom. They give everything to us and we think it’s time we give back to them!
Honor that special mother who does so much for her family and community by nominating a deserving mom.
Who is eligible to be named Mom of the Year?
Maybe she owns her own business and is going back to school while juggling three kids. Maybe she’s a local philanthropic icon. Maybe she’s an insightful and wonderful friend who is always there for you when you need advice. She could be your mom. She could be you.
The nominating process will run until Feb. 25. It’s as simple as giving a short description on why you think your favorite mom should be nominated.
There will be 12 moms of the year and the winners will receive a feature article in our May issue and frequent coverage on Washington FAMILY’s website and social media outlets.
