Duck and Goose Amuse and Delight Young Children
This is a great board book for little ones this fall season! My two children (ages 2 and 4) were in stitches as we read the story of Duck and Goose, two friends who are looking for pumpkins in all the wrong places.
If you’ve read any of the other Duck and Goose books you know that they are simple stories that really appeal to young listeners. My kids enjoyed reading the story so much I had to put a limit on how many times we could read it a day. After all, perfect for preschoolers doesn’t equal quite the thrill of entertaining for moms too!
I loved the pictures which are simple and beautiful. The edition we read was a large sized board book with pages that are roughly 10 inches by 10 inches. This large size was great when I was reading with both children; they could each see the pictures well. And the price is right for a large board book that will be around for many fall seasons to come!
After reading the book my kids wanted to know when we are going to a pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin! If your little one is excited about fall you’ll both be excited about reading Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin!
