Celebrate Irish culture and community this St. Patrick’s Day with a march… in March.
The St. Patrick’s Parade Committee of the Irish American Club of Washington, D.C. will be gathering on the National Mall this Saturday for a march followed by festivities. The committee will be joined by other groups, dance schools, bands and community members.
This year’s march will gather near the Peace Monument at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. NW and 1 St. NW on March 9 at 11 a.m. The march itself will begin at noon. There is parking available near the monument.

The march will be limited to walking and dancing. No floats, cars or motorized vehicles will be allowed.
From noon onward, live music and Irish dancing will take place at Kelly’s Irish Times, a local Irish pub on F St. NW, and the Irish Channel, another Irish restaurant and pub on H St. NW.
