Rapunzel

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Winnie the Pooh

Performed by McLean area youth, in this tale, Pooh’s love of honey and his friendship with Piglet take him and the rest of the forest creatures, Owl, Eeyore and Rabbit on a journey as they try to understand their new neighbors, Kanga and Roo. Kodo

Experience the electrifying wall of sound that completely fills the hall when the athletic artists of Kodo take the stage to perform the ancient Japanese art of taiko drumming. Take in the visually stunning performance and the beautiful sounds created with these traditional instruments. $30-$50, 8 p.m., George Mason University’s Center for the Arts, Fairfax, VA.

The Jewish Queen Lear

Written in 1898, Gordin’s story of power and pride revolves around Mirele Efros, a wealthy widow and clever business woman who wants to find a good wife for her son. When her children turn against her, Mirele experiences a fall of Shakespearean proportions. $30-$70, 7:30 p.m., Davis Performing Arts Center, 37th and O St. N.W., Washington, D.C.
