Open to current and non- BASIS Independent McLean students, BASIS Independent Summer Camp offers a day camp for grades K-5 with science and nature, creative and performing arts, sports and games activity blocks. Specialty camps and online academy camps are also available for kids to hone in on specific interests.
“Little Explorers” ages 2-8 enrolled in the current or upcoming academic year at Oneness-Family Montessori School in Chevy Chase, Maryland can enjoy full- or half-day camps featuring field trips (COVID-19 permitting), music, games, crafts, and water play.

Overnight Camps
If you’re looking for an overnight camp experience for your child, these camps in Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia provide a wide range of activities.
Camp Horizons has three camp programs, each serving a different age group from 6-16. Campers can take advantage of more than 50 different activities including horseback riding monitored by an experience equestrian team.

A Lutheran sleepaway camp located on 340 acres of undeveloped timberland in Pennsylvania, Camp Kirchenwald takes campers on challenging adventures to places such as the Adirondack Mountains and the beaches of Assateague Island while also spending time in bible study and worship.
Children ages 7-16 will have the opportunity to build their own day with this choose-your-own-adventure overnight camp in West Virginia. Camp Tall Timbers schedules campers individually so all children gets a program unique to them.
