“Where’s Boo?” A Hide-and-Seek Book Review
Fall is upon us and Halloween is just around the corner. We love Halloween at our house and we really enjoy breaking out the fun decorations and goodies. “Where’s Boo?” by Salina Yoon is an awesome addition to our ever-growing collection of Halloween books and toys. “Where’s Boo?” is a fun hide-and-seek book that babies and young kids are sure to enjoy. My almost two-year old loves reading this book, she likes to call it the “kitty” book, and we have read it several times. We recently took it with us on a plane trip, and any parent knows a book that keeps kids entertained on a plane is a good book. My daughter likes searching for the black cat, Boo, among Halloween characters including a jack-o-lantern, witches hats and spiders. Each page has a hint of Boo’s soft fuzzy tail, but it isn’t until the last page that we find him and a group of happy “trick-or-treaters.”
This cute book encourages kids to use their memory as they search for Boo. The pictures are really colorful and engaging. My daughter has a great time looking for Boo every time we read the book and she enjoys “reading” it on her own as well. This book is engaging and entertaining for little ones under the age of 3, a perfect addition to your Fall and Halloween book collection.
