Sugarloaf Crafts Festival
Just in time for holiday shopping, more than 450 talented artisans will be selling their wares, including jewelry, home décor, clothing and more, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Check out the specialty food vendors and entertainment for kids. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tickets: $8 online, $10 at the door. Free for kids 12 & under.
Downtown Holiday Market
Don’t miss the first night of D.C.’s annual outdoor shopping experience at 8th and F Streets, NW. Shop for pottery, paintings, textiles and more from 60+ regional artists and craftspeople while enjoying lively seasonal entertainment and festive treats. 12 – 8 p.m.

5th Annual Jennifer Bush-Lawson 5k & Family Fun Day
This annual run raises money for economically vulnerable women and their babies to receive high-quality maternal and infant care. Run the 5k then stay to play at the Knights of Columbus in Arlington. Fun Day activities include a moon bounces, laser tag, balloon animals, face painting and performances. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets: $22.50 – $45
Holiday Open House
Head to Butler’s Orchard for an afternoon of autumnal activities. Take ride around the farm on a tractor-driven hayride, cozy up in front of the bonfire and enjoy a complimentary cup of hot cider from the market. Before you go, make sure to check out the custom wreath department and take-and-bake pies! 12 – 4 p.m.
