Sydney Paige Valencia Collection Backpack and Lunch bag

The Sydney Paige Valencia Collection backpack and lunch bag are really nice looking and well made products. Kids usually want a colorful and fun backpack to carry around and parents want a product with durability. This line from Sydney Paige meets both expectations.

The orange/red and blue chevron pattern is vibrant and gender neutral, so you could potentially pass it down to other children in the family. My 3 year-old daughter was very enthusiastic about the design and wanted to try it on right away. It’s a little on the large size for a 3 year-old but she is still able to carry it comfortably. The backpack is a good size for elementary school aged children (3’-4’ tall). My daughter was very excited to take this backpack and lunch bag to preschool.

I like that the backpack has multiple compartments to keep items organized. There are two larger compartments for books and folders (or art projects for the preschoolers) and two smaller pockets that are the perfect size for items such as pens, pencils, calculators or ipods. There is also a space for a name tag or ID card inside one of the larger pockets. On the sides of the bag are two slots for carrying water bottles or an umbrella. The bag also has four metal rings that can be used to clip on keys, keychains or any other little toys or accessories. The zippers are heavy duty with larger rubber pulls, making it easier for little hands to maneuver them. The fabric itself is a nice quality that is easy to spot clean. There is also reflective piping on the front of the bag for safety.

The Sydney Paige Valencia Collection backpack also has nice features to make it comfortable to wear. The back is padded as well as the shoulder straps. There is also an adjustable chest strap that connects the two shoulder straps to prevent them from falling off the child’s shoulders.

The matching lunch bag is a great compliment to the backpack. It’s a good size that is large enough to fit a water bottle or juice box, sandwich, and at least a couple other food items. There is a smaller pocket on the front of the lunch bag for additional storage for smaller items such as utensils. It has a PEVA interior for quality construction and insulation to keep food fresh. It also has the same accessory hooks as the backpack.

After browsing the Sydney Paige website I learned that for every backpack they sell, another matching backpack full of school supplies is donated to a child in need. That is amazing and makes me love this brand even more! The Sydney Paige brand is on the pricier side but to know that you are helping a child in need with your purchase makes it so worth it. I will definitely recommend this brand to other parents.
