September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we invite you to join us at Flight Adventure Park as we come together to help raise money for local children and families in need. This year, Flight is proud to partner with Horizon Day Camp, whose mission is to bring the simple pleasures of childhood back to children struggling with cancer, changing months of loneliness and isolation into summers filled with sunshine, laughter and happiness. And because Horizon is a day camp, it does all this while allowing the children to continue their medical treatment and enjoy the comfort and safety of their own homes at night.
Throughout the month of September, Flight will be raising funds in several exciting ways. You can purchase exclusive, limited-edition childhood cancer awareness Flight socks. Not only will you be showing off your Flight spirit, but proceeds from each pair sold will go directly to Horizon Day Camp.
You can also choose to donate any monetary amount when checking into the park. When you donate, you’ll receive a special “I Donated” ribbon that you can personalize with your name. We’ll proudly display your ribbon in a special area of our park, showing everyone that you’ve joined us in this important cause.
On Monday, Sept. 9, we’re hosting a special Soar For a Cause Fundraiser Day. It’s the perfect time to bring your family and friends for a day of fun while contributing to a cause that matters. Join us from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and mention “Horizon” when checking in and 20% of your total jump time purchased will benefit Horizon Day Camp!
