Massanuttenoffers lighted night skiing. Wisp Resort

WispResorts offers tons of kid’s programs. Enjoy the slopes with your honey anddrop off your kids for a while with the Wisp Child Care Drop In Center, whichoffers short-term child care for ages 2 to 8.  Willy Wisp is a ski programdesigned for 3 – 7 year olds.  Mini-Riders is a new snowboard program for6 – 7 year olds. Mountain Rippers is a two-hour snowboard or ski class thatwill have your 8 – 14 year olds on the mountain longer and learning some cooltechniques that will make even you envious.  Club Wisp is a ski orsnowboard program for 8 – 14 year olds. Timberline Resort

With an average of 200 inches of snow perseason, Timberline promises the best snow a resort can have! Winterplace Ski Resort

Canaan Resort

Canaan Resort’s has a great place where your kidscan be entertained called Kidz Korner. Hit the slopes and know your kids are ingood hands. Snowshoe Mountain Resort

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is the only resort in the region to routinely crack the annual SKI and Skiing magazine rankings list of the top 20 ski areas in the Southeast. There’s a good reason for the high marks: Snowshoe combines three ski areas into one resort for a total of 57 trails, with glades and steeps that beat anything else south of the Mason-Dixon Line. It gets 180 inches of snow annually, and has a vertical drop of 1,500 feet. Owned by Intrawest, which owns ski areas such as Steamboat and Winter Park in Colorado, Snowshoe looks and feels like a big resort.

Evenif your kids don’t want to ski, Whitetail Resort offers a center-based facilitystaffed by responsible and caring individuals to children ages 6 months to 12years. Seven Springs

Pennsylvania’s largest ski and four seasonresort. Seven Springs has a great deal for families called the “Winter FamilyMemories” package.  Sunday through Wednesday through March, the package includeslodging, skiing, tubing, bowling, miniature golf, breakfast,a pizza andmore, with 2 kids ages 11 and under for free!  Starting at $298 per adult.

Liberty

Liberty Mountain Resort is more than a ski area. With a hotel and multiple bars and restaurants on-site, it’s a real resort. It’s also the closest ski area to the Washington, D.C., area, making it a favorite among ski clubs at area grade schools. Also making it kid-friendly: Burton Riglet Park, where instructors teach kids as young as 3 the basics of snow-boarding. Dipsy Doodle, a 5,200-foot beginner run is a favorite among shredders of all ages. Over the past few years, Liberty has improved its snowmaking system by adding more efficient snow guns. It also has added Burton Riglet Park, and has remodeled most of its hotel rooms.

Roundtop Mountain Resort

RoundtopMountain Resort has tons of great options for the whole family. Options includethe Snow Ranger 2-hour program offered three times a day, the Mountaineer4-hour program, and the Night Ranger 1-hour lesson offered several times in theevening.  Ages 4 to 12 for skiing, 6 to 12 for snowboarding. Roundtop also offers tubing and the Playcare child care option for ages 18months to 12 years.  This winter Roundtop is offering Ladies Days onTuesdays, College Day and Mens Days on Wednesdays, and Home School Dayson Thursdays with a discounted lift ticket and free child care. They also offer Military Discounts.
