My boys and I experienced the perfect family outing over spring break at Rockin’ Jump in Gaithersburg, MD. We have visited other trampoline parks in the area, but Rockin’ Jump far exceeded our expectations!
Rockin’ Jump had something for all ages. Upon arrival, we were quickly helped by the friendly employees. We were reminded that we first need to complete the safety waiver and put on their super-grip socks to partake in the adventure.
All three of my boys first started in the Open Jump Arena, which is closely monitored by the Rockin’ Jump staff. Even my 1-year-old was able to safely explore the extremely clean jump arena without getting trampled by his older brothers.
After warming up in the Open Jump Arena, my 4 and 5-year-olds, Jack and Charlie, sprinted away to the Dodgeball Arena. Here they were able to join forces with other similar-aged children and partake in this exciting game. What great memories of elementary school PE class! Jack and Charlie then moved on to the Slam Dunk Zone. One of the hoops was even lowered low enough that they could attempt a dunk.
The most impressive attraction was the Stunt Bag Arena. In this arena, you are able to feel the freedom of flying, flipping and jumping into an air-filled stunt bag! The stunt bag was clean and it was a safe environment – unlike similar ball pits you find at other parks. With only a few minutes left the older boys attempted the X-Beam, where they paddled against each other working on their balance to get the other to fall into the pool of foam. Nothing like a little sibling competition!
My boys are already begging me to go back. Rockin’ Jump would be the perfect spot to plan your child’s next birthday party or rainy day outing. It really is fun for all ages!
