Makes 5 servings, 2 Tbsp each
Place in a food processor container or blender and cover:
3 cups washed and dried fresh basil leaves (can substitute half of the basil with spinach)
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup walnuts or pine nuts
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Process until well blended.
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
