Tyson’s Corner Center recently announced three new retail brands: Buck Mason, Hobbs London and Primark. The new location for men’s and women’s apparel retailer Buck Mason was designed by Dutton Studio and features details including custom millwork, vintage furniture and lighting.

“As our first shop in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Tysons Corner Center is pretty special for us,” says co-founder Erik Allen Ford, in a news release. “We couldn’t ask for better neighbors, and the shop is a real reflection of everything we’ve built these past [11] years.”

For Hobbs London, Tyson’s Corner will be its second location in the United States and first in the D.C. market. The shop specializes in workwear and event dressing, and will include a petite line, personalized styling sessions and a limited edition collection with unique designs.

The focus for international clothing retailer Primark is fashion at value prices. For locals, that also means affordable NBA and NFL apparel for D.C. teams. This will be Primark’s first store in Virginia.

In addition to Tyson’s new retailers, D.C. -based mini cookie company Bell’s Reines is now available in several DMV retail shops including Shop Made in DC, locations within Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and two Maryland stores: Local Flavor Love and Park Ridge Trading Company.

A few months ago, the gourmet Black-owned company from mother-daughter duo
Angel Thompson-Cephas and Teneisha Bell-Thompson, partnered with the Smithsonian Institute to have its cookies sold in Smithsonian Museum Shops and online.

The pair also enrolled in The Envision Group’s Retail Incubator Program, which supports early-stage retail ventures—especially those led by diverse or under-represented founders a news release states.
