Micro Mini2Go Kick Scooter

Micro’s Mini2Go Kick Scooter is such a great scooter for your preschool-aged child. The T-Bar extends to adjust with your child’s size and convert into the classic Mini Micro scooter.

The brand recommends purchasing the Mini Micro T-Bar as an accessory. With its low-to-the ground build and sit or stand option, your child will be comfortable as they get to know this new toy. They’ll be taking off before you know it!

The drawer on the scooter slides in and out easily, and has room to hold a few snacks, a water bottle and perhaps a toy or two. Or, you can use the scooter without the drawer if you’d prefer. Once you remove the seat and drawer, you’ll have a traditional stand-up scooter. The T-Bar can adjust from 14 to 21 inches.

The Mini2Go is good for indoor or outdoor play. The non-marking wheels allow children to learn to scoot in and around your house. Currently, the Mini2Go comes in two colors–pink and blue. It is a fun way to help your children learn about balance and motor skills. And, it’s a great start on your child’s journey into the “big kid” world of ride-on toys.

My 3-year-old was so excited just to see the box (when we pulled it out, she started jumping up and down!). I absolutely love the drawer feature. As a busy mom, it is so nice to be able to throw a few snacks and a drink inside as we go on our walk and rides.

She loved scooting around on it inside and outside of the house. It took a few times before she was comfortable enough to try it as a regular scooter. It glided nicely and was easy to adjust. This product feels reliably durable and likely to last through a few kids. I also love how lightweight it is. It is very easy to fold down and be tossed into the trunk–a huge plus. One of the most important factors for any product for me is how user-friendly it is. While I’m juggling three kids, I need to know that I can fold, transport and set up these toys in a timely matter. Big, bulky toys are never fun to pack up to take to Grandma’s house!

As far as age is concerned, I think it is well advertised as 18 months to 5 years. But as with most toys, it really does depend on the child. I know when my son was five, he probably would not have wanted to ride a mini scooter (not “cool” enough for him!). However, as I already mentioned, my 3-year-old daughter could not be more excited for the “big girl” outside time on her personal scooter. I think around 4 years old is probably the perfect age.
