Loopy Gear Baby Rattle Holder

I have the premium Red Delicious Apples design of the Loopy Gear Baby Rattle Holder. I like this item a lot. It is both stylish and functional. Having three kids, I have gone through A LOT of items designed to make a mom’s life “easier” but fail to do so. The Loopy Gear holder truly is functional. It keeps the baby’s toys off the floor and within reach. No more “mommy fetch game!” I love the fact that the Loopy Gear holders are made in the United States. Each one is handmade, which would explain the higher price for them. Also great about the holder is that it is machine washable; just remember to close the Velcro together before washing and drying it. The holders are made from 100% designer cotton and 100% plush poly minky.

You simply attach the larger opening to the baby’s wrist and the smaller end around the toy. Sorry, it won’t work on toys that don’t have an opening or handle to attach it to or for items that have a very large diameter. The site suggests you attach the holder to the child’s favored or dominant hand. I am not sure if you can really tell that at such a young age, so just attach it to whichever wrist you choose. They also suggest that you can attach the holder to a highchair, stroller baby carrier and shopping carts. 

There is a large selection of styles to choose from. The premium holders offer 9 choices for boys, 9 unisex and 14 for girls. The organic model has 13 choices for boys, 16 for girls and 16 unisex. There are currently no local stores that offer them for sale. They are apparently trying to reach out and get more brick-and-mortar stores to sell them. My 11-month-old daughter is using this product. When I first tried to put the Loopy Gear holder on her wrist, she wondered what it was. She manages to wriggle out of many things, especially her socks. She tried taking the Loopy Gear holder off until she realized she could not remove it! The soft red inside is so soft and gentle on her little arm. Despite the fact she tried removing it, she did not seem uncomfortable at all. Because it is so expensive, I am not sure if I would buy it for myself, but I still rated it a yes because I do like it so much. I would definitely buy it as a gift because it is stylish and functional.
