Leek American Bistro: Farm Fresh, Fabulous Food
Leek American Bistro offers a modern American menu with seasonal changes and a contemporary twist on old favorites. They work with local farmers to offer sustainable meat, dairy and produce whenever seasonally available. Their desserts and breads are both made in-house daily. This, together with warm, savvy service, polished décor and a casual atmosphere laid the foundation for an amazing meal for my friends and family.
We ventured out for their brunch which they offer on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am until 3 pm. I ordered the Fennel & Leek Soup followed up by the Maryland Crabcake. The soup was delicious and the crabcake was the best I’ve ever had. It was such a treat to eat at a casual restaurant with pressed linens and a complimentary basket of house-made breads at such a reasonable price.
Leek American Bistro was founded by Nathan Spittal and Joe D’Jassebi, two restaurant vetrans with one simple idea: to offer elegant food made from farm fresh ingredients at affordable prices. I would say they’ve gone above and beyond their goal. I am looking forward to dining there again soon so I can try another delicious meal.
