Juneteenth and Father’s Day Fun in the DMV: June 14-15

Pirate Ships and Mermaids Workshop

Make a splash at this aquatic-themed art workshop! Whether your child likes pirates or mermaids better, they can be guided through drawing a fantastical seascape. There will even be a “real” mermaid at the workshop for children to meet and take pictures with.

Juneteenth Block Party

Juneteenth is this Thursday! Get ready to celebrate the holiday at this free block party held by Prince George’s Community College. Take part in traditions like West African dances and healing drum circles, see a reenactment of the Buffalo Soldiers from the Civil War and explore a variety of health-related offerings, including yoga classes and a health care village.

DAD GAMES 2025
