My daughter is 7 months old and wears size–three diapers. I have two older boys (8 and 4 years old), so I‘ve used a variety of diapers: Walmart brand, Parent‘s Choice, LUVs. As far as wipes, I‘d just buy in bulk at BJ‘s to save money.
By my third time, Huggies came out with the Snug & Dry SureFit design. These size–three Huggies are a little smaller than the Pampers size–three diapers. I actually like this because my daughter is too big for the size two and seems a little too small for the size-three Pampers. I agree that the Huggies are a sure fit. They keep baby dry with no leaks—the worst for any mom! Every mom knows that leak guard is essential for our little poopers.
As far as the Natural Care wipes and the new designer tub are concerned, my opinion is still good, just not as good as for the diapers. The wipes are definitely thick, and you can feel the triple layers, but they aren‘t as moist other sensitive wipes I use. I prefer the wipes to be moist, especially when I‘m changing a poopy diaper. I do like the Huggies wipes for cleaning faces and hands because they are thicker and stronger and don‘t leave a lot of moisture behind. So I guess it depends on your preference and diaper–changing style.
The design of the tub is hip, and the packaging is sleeker than traditional wipes tubs. You can stand the tub on its end to take up less space. If you’re a mom who cares about the appearance of your home or no longer has babies but still wants wipes around, this tub can look good on night stands or end tables. It is easy to load. It does, however, take two hands to pull out a wipe, which is difficult when you are holding up the baby‘s legs with one hand and trying to get wipes out with the other. It is because of this two-hand requirement that I gave the score of 4 for the “ease of use.” I also said “maybe” for purchasing it for my child, because I probably wouldn’t purchase this for diaper changes—but I’d be more likely to purchase them for cleaning hands and faces. I also find that when something spills on clothing, a baby wipe will get it out better than anything else! So perhaps when I am finally done with diapers, I will be purchasing the designer wipes tubs to keep in my home and car.Huggies Snug and Dry Diapers and Natural Care Wipes in New Designer Wipes Tub Made by: Kimberly-Clark Worldwide Inc.
