Tiny Tot: Insect Search
June 7, 10-10:45 a.m.
The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department’s Tiny Tot programs provide opportunities to interact one-on-one with your child while discovering the wonders of nature. Each program will engage your child with hands-on learning and might include activities like songs, crafts, finger plays and mini-hikes. Tiny Tot programs are offered throughout the year at the Gulf and Long Branch nature centers.

Brain Games
June 11 & 25, 1-2:30 p.m.
The City of Rockville is holding a virtual brain games series so you can keep your brain in top shape while you have fun! Test your memory, solve problems, improve attention to detail, increase processing speed and even multitask. Reap cognitive benefits as you engage with other participants in friendly competition. The series takes place the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.

STEAM Adventure
June 26, 6-7 p.m.
The Science Guys of Baltimore stop by Maryland City Library in Laurel to lead young scientists in a STEM adventure. Kids will explode right into a mission that reveals challenges of defying gravity and electrifying obstacles, all while exploring science principles to navigate an escape. This adventure includes the powerful forces of physics, stunning reactions of chemistry and more.

Family Basketball Game
June 27, 7 p.m.
The family can spend the day at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C. to watch the local Washington Mystics battle the Connecticut Suns in a heated WNBA matchup to entertain the whole family.
