Halloween Fun in the DMV: Oct. 25-26

Halloween is coming soon, and these community events are the perfect way to get into the spooky mood! From trick-or-treating for very young audiences to a concert of Halloween classics, you’re sure to have a scary good time in the DMV this weekend.

Mini-Creep

Oct. 25, 9:30-10:30 a.m., 11-11:30 a.m.

If your little ones are too young to go out trick-or-treating, this celebration aimed at kids ages 2-5 is the perfect place for some spooky Halloween fun! Attendees are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes to play fun games and enjoy tasty treats.

Creepy Crawlies Campfire

Oct. 26, 2-3 p.m.

Croydon Creek Nature Center | 852 Avery Road, Rockville, MD 20851

Gather around the campfire and learn about some of the bugs, spiders and other small animals that play an important role in our environment. Attendees will be treated to a campfire snack at the end!

Halloween Spooktacular

Oct. 26, 2:30, 4:30 p.m.

The Kennedy Center | 2700 F St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20004

Even the musicians at this Halloween concert will be dressed in costumes as they perform spooky Halloween classics! The 2:30 p.m. concert is a sensory-friendly event. Come early for the Haunted Hall Musical PLAYspace, where children can try out some of the instruments used in the concert.
