Santa Technology Workshop Design and decorate your very own 3D-printed ornament! All proceeds benefit Enable Alliance, a local nonprofit that uses 3D printers to create free prosthetics for children missing upper limbs. Gaylord National Resort, Oxen Hill, MD from 1-8 p.m. $5-$10.

Friday, December 20

Holiday Hoops Fest This tournament-style event features eight college basketball teams, including Towson University, battling it out over the course of three days. Entertainment and Sports Arena, Washington, DC at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. $10-$65

Step Afrika! Magical Musical Holiday Step Show The entire family will be stomping their feet and clapping their hands along with the internationally-acclaimed percussive dance company. Ride The Capital Wheel with Santa Santa Claus will be down at the National Harbor one last time this season to pose for photos, receive wish lists and, if you’re lucky, and ride the Ferris wheel with your family! “Snow Queen” In this family-friendly play, a little girl ventures across far lands with a magic mirror to save her best friend from the Snow Queen. Synetic Theater, Arlington, VA at 4 p.m. $15-$30 

Chanukah Family Fun Fest Kids in kindergarten through middle school will have a blast participating in improvisational games and a game show that’ll test their knowledge of Chanukah and put them through physical challenges. Menorah Lighting Ceremony Stop by Dawson’s Market for an arts & crafts project before enjoying the outdoor lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Stay for live music, donuts and latkes and a magician, too! Rockville Town Square, Rockville, MD at 4 p.m. FREE
