Origami Kids Challenge 2021 - Online Charity Campaign for All Ages

Hub Park is a non-profit organization and holding an online charity campaign #OrigamiKidsChallenge 2021. It’s an easy-to-join volunteer opportunity and not just for kids, anyone can join.

Date: April 1 – April 30, 2021

1) Make origami crane(s)
2) Take a photo(s)
3) Post it on your social media with #Origamikidschallenge (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter)

Hub Park and sponsor organizations will donate $1 to Feeding America for every crane that is posted. The more photos posted, the more food will be secured to help end hunger nationwide.

The Origami Crane is a design that is considered to be the most classic of all Japanese origami. A thousand origami cranes strung together is called senbazuru (千羽鶴), meaning “a thousand cranes”. It was believed that if one folded 1000 origami cranes, one’s wish would come true. It has also become a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times.
