Ashburn Ice House Offers Free Community Skate

The Ashburn Ice House is celebrating National Skating Month with a FREE skating event on Tuesday, January 28 from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at 21595 Smith Switch Road in Ashburn. Skates will be provided at no cost to all participants. Complimentary group skating lessons will be offered at 3:30, 4 and 4:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. Ice space is limited to 200, so come early!
The goal of National Skating Month, now in its 19th year, is to increase awareness of and participation in U.S. Figure Skating programs. U.S. Figure Skating is comprised of more than 750 member clubs, collegiate clubs, school-affiliated clubs and more than 1,000 registered Learn to Skate USA programs representing more than 191,700 members.

“As a Loudoun community partner for over 20 years, we are excited to offer the community a free skating event. Bring your friends or whole family and enjoy an afternoon of skating,” said Rob Lorenzen, General Manager, Ashburn Ice House.
