With a toddler in the house, we are always running a bath. Whether it’s the latest potty training accident or a “really fun” afternoon in the mud, there’s always a reason to dump my kid into the water. I’m pretty picky when it comes to body products for my kids; in particular, I avoid synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals. My daughter also has highly sensitive skin so I always worry whether a product will irritate or cause red blotches.
I was very excited to try Joyful Bath Co. products, a company who centers around “good enough to eat” ingredients. Joyful Bath Co. is a Bethesda-based company created by Rochel Roland. Roland always enjoyed the luxuriousness of a bath, but was unhappy with the ingredients in the bath products she used. Roland applied her background in chemistry and science to create a line of bath products created from essential oils and organic salts.
