Janice Copeland...

Janice Copeland knows what it is like to be both a mom and a career professional. The Leesburg mother is founder and President of Unlimited Growth Potential, a company dedicated to helping women create extraordinary personal and professional lives. Janice's unique experience and style was gained from over 13 years of management, consulting and sales expertise which has made her an accomplished coach, consultant, speaker and trainer. She works with women who are business and sales professionals, sole proprietors and stay-at-home moms in areas of entrepreneurship, goal attainment, leadership and personal growth. She is also the Washington DC Metro/Northern Virginia Managing Director with eWomenNetwork, a company recognized as the #1 resource for connecting and promoting women and their businesses worldwide.

After graduating from college, Janice decided to join the then Bell Atlantic Mobile, now Verizon Wireless, as an Account Executive in Philadelphia, PA instead of working in Manhattan as she had originally planned. Copeland moved through several telecom companies and quickly up the ranks from sales to sales manager to product manager and eventually Staff Director of Marketing where she was responsible for a team of over 200 sales professionals. Copeland tells us, ".It had always been a goal of mine to become a director in the telecom industry by age 30 and I am very proud to say that I met that goal!"

On a more personal note, Copeland tells us, "I met my husband Daniel (a native of Northern Virginia) on the Internet at ChristianMatchmaker.com. Later I left a great job, my home and family in Pennsylvania to move to Northern Virginia. After Sept 11, 2001, I decided to be true to myself and focus on what was important to me. I wanted to work from home on something more meaningful, sharing my passion for excellence, my business ideas, and supporting women in their quest for success and satisfying lives. So I started my own business doing just that," says Copeland.

Copeland firmly believes that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things with the right information, support, encouragement and of course, their own desire for success, commitment to work hard and dedication to seeing the goal to completion. Copeland goes on to tell us, "About the time that I launched Unlimited Growth Potential, I discovered eWomenNetwork, Inc. on the web and was intrigued and impressed by the group's inspiring mission and the many successful and dynamic members.

I joined right away and discovered that a Managing Director was needed in this area to facilitate local monthly networking meetings.. So I took on that role. Since then our monthly networking events held at the Tower Club have averaged over 80 success-minded women in attendance each month! These meetings are extremely worthwhile in terms of establishing relationships with other like-minded women and coming together as a group of women with the same mission: To help each other grow our businesses and ourselves as individuals. eWomenNetwork, Inc is the fastest growing membership-based professional women's organization in North America. The members consciously and intentionally look for ways to share information, leads, contacts and business. eWomen represents a whole new approach which honors how women connect and collaborate with each other. I wanted to be a part of bringing that positive networking for women here to the DC Metro area. When asked to tell FAMILIES Magazine about a rewarding experience,

Copeland said, "In my business, I am blessed to be a part of rewarding experiences every week! I get to see women renewed with a new strategic bus plan, I see women who feel less stress and guilt because they now ensure that their core values run their actions.. HOW REWARDING! Each month I see the connections and relationships being made amongst successful businesswomen at the eWomenNetwork luncheons. I receive such wonderful positive feedback from the ladies on each event.. that too is very rewarding! On my personal side, I work from home and have the freedom to see my son as he develops everyday, That big smile melts mommy's heart! I get to lead a new girl's ministry at our church with my daughter which is a wonderful mother-daughter time! Yes, I feel most blessed because I am living my life the way I want to! Each day I get up knowing that I will help someone, which is incredibly awesome! I also know that I will get "guilt-free" time with my kids, with no boss questioning my priorities! I am living out my priorities daily! This is what being successful is all about!"
