Diane M. Sieb...

Nearly 50% of all Americans will likely need long-term care at some point in their lives. Diane Sieb has been speaking to groups and promoting long term care for over 4 years. After her father died of brain cancer and her mother-in-law died from Alzheimer's disease in 1997, she spent much time researching the disease. This pushed her towards Long Term Care Insurance.

Previous to this Diane was a Senior Depart Manager with JC Penny for 10 years and a stay-at-home mom. After her stint as a stay-at-home mom she became an insurance Associate with State Farm then a Long-Term Care Specialist with Northwestern Mutual. She became the #1 National Sales Leader in Long Term Care in only 4 months.

Having 3 teenage daughters, Diane knows how hard it is to juggle a profession and a family in the Washington, DC area. She feels employers in this region are more adaptable than they were 10 years ago when there were not as many professional women. And, she feels that women in the Washington area treated as professionals and have a great opportunity to grow in their careers here.

Diane knew from seeing other families as well as her own experience the drain of long-term care that Long Term Care Insurance is a needed protection for seniors in the future. Her passion is to speak in front as many groups as she can to educate our population on Alzheimer's and Dementia problems of the baby boom generation. She is a volunteer speaker for the National Capital Area Alzheimer's Association

Diane also feels strongly about networking to help your career. Networking has been beneficial to her and in particular, networking with other women. She is a member of the new eWomen Networking group that recently started chapters in Virginia, DC and Maryland. Her most difficult task is finding enough time to continue her education in her field.

Diane gives this advice, "Become the best you can be in your career field. Speak frequently. Appear on local radio or TV." Diane has on the Mike Causey show on Federal New Radio.com.

If you would like to contact Diane, she can be reached at 703-610-4054 or by e-mail at DSM1125@aol.com
