Alexandria Country Day School Summer Camps provide the
perfect combination of learning and fun.
With different camps each week, students may enjoy a variety of
activities. Camps include everything from drama, film, sports, and fashion, to
science, math, and even an experiential history camp called Taking DC by Storm
where campers venture into the city to tour monuments and museums. Our goal is always to engage all sides of a
child, sparking critical thought, igniting passions, and fueling the curiosity
that initiates a quest for lifelong learning.
Alexandria Country Day School is a K-8 independent school,

Summer Camp 2011 at BeanTree Learning goes
beyond a child’s imagination and a parent’s expectations! Experience a summer packed with learning
adventures, new friendships, and excitement through meticulously-planned and themed
camps available by the week or for the entire summer break. Activities for children between six and twelve
years of age begin June 20th and last until just before Labor Day. BeanTree Summer Camp 2011 includes both fun
and educational themes such as “Animal Safari,” “We Love the Earth,” “Sports
and Games,” and “Arts and Science,” along with eight other exciting weekly
themes designed to enlighten and engage your camper throughout the summer!
In addition to
an exciting summer of wonderful experiences, BeanTree also offers an
unparalleled environment, curriculum, and faculty with a philosophy centered on
interactive, experiential activities through play for infants through full-day
Kindergarten. Beginning in preschool, students
experience an active and engaging class schedule that changes every thirty
minutes with specialty programs taught daily in the subjects of art,
technology, Spanish, and music. With the
primary goal of employing qualified and passionate teachers, BeanTree recruits
degreed and experienced early childhood professionals and has four full-time
Directors onsite daily at each Campus.

Creative Campus includes a 21,000 square foot facility with an additional
16,000 square feet of outdoor classrooms featuring six playscapes, an outdoor
garden, and the Atlantis Water Park, guaranteed to delight your child all

Brooksfield Summer Camp is beautifully situated on five
secluded acres inside the Washington DC beltway in McLean, VA.
Brooksfield offers a seven week program which begins on June 13th and runs
through July 29th, for children ages three to nine years old. The camp
curriculum has been developed to encompass a wide variety of activities suited
to each age group’s maturity and interests. These activities revolve
around pre-determined weekly themes designed to engage each camper and enrich
their summer experience.
Brooksfield Summer Camp is excited to announce that we will now be
offering Extended Day for the 2011 Summer Camp season. Extended Day is
offered to all Brooksfield Campers and will run Monday through Friday from 3:00
to 5:30pm. Activities will include: playground time, snack, arts and
crafts and more!
Applicants may register for any combination of
weeks. Tuition is based on a weekly rate, with a discount given for any 3
week enrollment. We offer an additional savings if you register for all
seven weeks. A 5% siblings discount is also available. Applications
are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and require a $100 deposit per
child. Enrollment is limited. Early registration is recommended.

TV and 1-week Radio Summer Camp programs. FPA operates a full service TV and
Radio Production facility and welcomes students to join us in building a sense
of community in their neighborhood.
Each summer camp is
designed to give students a thorough behind the scenes understanding on how TV
or Radio shows are produced. The camps use a mix of lectures, hands-on equipment
training and demonstrations to teach student the use of our production
facilities with the goal of having them produce their own show by the end of
the camp.
In addition part of each
camp fee includes an FPA yearly membership. This allows students that complete
the camp the opportunity to stay involved throughout the year at FPA and
volunteer in the various shows produced at the station by helping in crew
positions or if interested create their own public access programs to air in
one of our channels.

Pinecrest Summer Pavilion
At Pinecrest Summer Pavilion our mission is to provide a
camp program with variety, flexibility and fun that nurtures curiosity,
confidence and a love of learning. Camp
is available to rising PK-grade 6 students and runs for eight weeks, in one
week sessions, beginning June 27 and ending August 19. Each week, camp is
divided into two half-day sessions. The morning session runs from 9 a.m.-12
p.m., and the afternoon session runs from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Campers wishing to stay all day participate
in a supervised lunch period and play time. After-care is available for K-6
campers from 3:30 until 6 p.m. for an additional fee. Preschool Pavilion, our camp program for
4-year-olds, takes place during the morning session. At Pinecrest Summer Pavilion, you can customize
your child‚s great time by choosing the classes that best fit his/her needs and
interests. We offer a wide variety of
specialty classes and creative, themed camps so that children can experience a
lot of fun activities, not just one.
