Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Combat Shell & Deluxe Mask

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume comprises the shell and mask only, and are recommended for ages four and up. My 4-year-old son is on the small size, but my 8-year-old son is closer to average. The shell fit both boys, though it was a little large on the 4-year-old. Adjustable shoulder and waist straps make it smaller or larger as needed.

My older son was jealous when I told him the costume was for his little brother, so of course he had to wear it, too! Even though the shell costs $25, it at least can grow with your child. If your kids are like mine, Halloween costumes are worn throughout the year for dress up, so your kids will get plenty of use out of the shell and mask.

Both the mask and shell are made of sturdy plastic and are durable. The mask has a soft plastic mask inside it that fits snugly and comfortably over a child’s eyes and nose. The mask was large on my younger son, but it still fit nicely because of the adjustable strap. The mask fit my older son nicely, so, like the shell, it will last you a few years and will get plenty of use.

The shell has two pieces on the outside to hold weapon (sold separately). Searching online for the price of the mask and shell, I found the weapons are about $12.99. I did not see any additional items to add to the costume. To complete the look, you would need to purchase a green longsleeve shirt and green pants if your kids didn’t already own them.
