at snow sports including First Time Ski and Snowboard Packages for first-time
skiers and snowboarders ages eight years and older. Your family can also go tubing
down Bryce’s 800-foot long tubing lanes is very popular at Bryce Resort and a
great way to spend time as a family. After a fun day in the snow, Bryce
offers the Kids Club on Saturday evenings for ages 4-11 where they will enjoy
crafts, games, and a snack while you have some adult time. They also offer
Military Days each month with Military Personnel receiving FREE lift

Massanutten
offers lighted night skiing. This is a full service resort with condominiums
and hotel accommodations. Massanutten also offers lots of lessons, and
options for tons of snow fun including tubing, a spa, resort activities, and a
large indoor waterpark! Throughout January and February, Massanutten has
Monday Night Madness, with rentals and lift tickets for $18 each, from 4:00 PM
– 9:00 PM, including a free group lesson. College Days are Wednesdays and
Fridays with any valid college ID from January 4th-March 2nd, 2012. They
are also offering a School’s Out Special for students, parents, faculty
and staff that are out of school due to inclement weather can ski or snowboard
at reduced rates.

Wisp Resort
Wisp
Resorts offers tons of kid’s programs. Enjoy the slopes with your honey and
drop off your kids for a while with the Wisp Child Care Drop In Center, which
offers short-term child care for ages 2 to 8. Willy Wisp is a ski program
designed for 3 - 7 year olds. Mini-Riders is a new snowboard program for
6 - 7 year olds. Mountain Rippers is a two-hour snowboard or ski class that
will have your 8 - 14 year olds on the mountain longer and learning some cool
techniques that will make even you envious. Club Wisp is a ski or
snowboard program for 8 - 14 year olds. This season Wisp is offering
a Mondays-$29 Deal Day which begins January 2.

West Virginia
Timberline Resort
With an average of 200 inches of snow per
season, Timberline promises the best snow a resort can have! Trails can be up
to miles long (some of the longest in the South) and give riders a change to
really enjoy the scenic views. On the weekends, they have live entertainment.

blue grass weekend is at the end of January, and a not-to-miss event for the

Winterplace Ski Resort
This resort offers the largest snow tubing park in West Virginia, and also has
a kiddie snow tubing park! Wednesdays from 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, you can take ski or snowboarding

20).

Canaan Resort
Canaan Resort’s has a great place where your kids
can be entertained called Kidz Korner. Hit the slopes and know your kids are in
good hands. Your kids can be from age two through six to hang at Kidz Korner,
and must be potty trained. Call ahead to set them up! In addition to skiing and
snow boarding, Canaan Resorts also offers snowshoeing, tubing, airboarding and
ice skating with a rink that features an outdoor fireplace. This winter
Canaan Resort is offering the Super Saver Midweek promotions which include

if your kids don’t want to ski, Whitetail Resort offers a center-based facility
staffed by responsible and caring individuals to children ages 6 months to 12
years. Whitetail’s
children’s program is filled with excellent instruction and fun activities, for
skiers ages 4 through 12 and snowboarders ages 6 through 12. Kids Mountain Camp
introduces snowsports without competitiveness, ensuring each child is having a
blast while learning new skills. Whitetail also offers tubing, child
care, and more! Ski Whitetail is 89 miles from Washington D.C. On Wednesdays in
January Whitetail is offering the Learn to Ski or Snowboard program for just
$39 including lesson, rental equipment and an all day lift ticket.

Seven Springs
Pennsylvania’s largest ski and four season
resort. Seven Springs has a great deal for families called the “Winter Family
Memories” package. Sunday through Wednesday through March, the package includes
lodging, skiing, tubing, bowling, miniature golf, breakfast,a pizza and
more, with 2 kids ages 11 and under for free! Starting at $298 per adult.

Liberty
Liberty’s Ski and Snowboard Camp programs offer average class size of 4-7
children per instructor, ensuring the best instruction and attention. You
drop your child off at the Children’s Learning Center and they take care of
everything for you! They get the rental equipment, take your child to the
lesson, provide lunch on full day programs, and provide indoor supervision
between on-snow time. Following the conclusion of the lessons, you will
be able to pick up your child to hit the slopes and see all the things they
have learned! Ages 4 to 10 for skiing, 6 to 10 for snowboarding.
Ski Liberty also offers lessons, tubing, and child care for ages 6 months to 10
years. Learn to Ski or Snowboard Packages for everyone ages 8 and up are only
$39 every Thursday the entire month of January, including free day care!

Roundtop Mountain Resort
Roundtop
Mountain Resort has tons of great options for the whole family. Options include
the Snow Ranger 2-hour program offered three times a day, the Mountaineer
4-hour program, and the Night Ranger 1-hour lesson offered several times in the
evening. Ages 4 to 12 for skiing, 6 to 12 for snowboarding.
Roundtop also offers tubing and the Playcare child care option for ages 18
months to 12 years. This winter Roundtop is offering Ladies Days on
Tuesdays, College Day and Mens Days on Wednesdays, and Home School Days
on Thursdays with a discounted lift ticket and free child care.
